General
What is Seaport?
A Singapore-headquartered network that connects large companies with vetted creative studios and independents. Work is done on proper contracts, and small creative ideas are packaged as frameworks that many companies can license.
Where do you work?
Our headquarters are in Singapore, and we work with creatives and companies worldwide. Briefs, contracts and invoices are in English.
Who should I contact?
General questions: info@getseaport.com. Creatives joining the network: team@getseaport.com. Companies setting up an account: sales@getseaport.com.
For companies
How quickly can we start?
Once we have your brief, Seaport usually shortlists three creatives within two working days. Set up a company account to post your first brief.
How is pricing worked out?
Each project has a fixed quote, and each framework has a licence fee set by its scope and term. Everything is billed on one monthly invoice, with GST added in Singapore.
Who owns the work we commission?
The creative keeps the copyright. You receive a written licence for the use you agreed, and exclusive licences are available when you need the work to be yours alone in a category.
How is our data protected?
We handle personal data under Singapore's PDPA today, with GDPR alignment on our roadmap for clients in Europe.
For creatives
How do I join?
Send an application with your portfolio. The talent team reviews it, usually within five working days, followed by a short call and your agreement. Apply to join.
Do I keep my IP?
Yes. You own the copyright in everything you make. You grant Seaport the right to license it, in a written agreement you both sign.
How and when am I paid?
Project fees are paid on delivery. Royalties are a share of every licence fee on your work, at the rate in your agreement, paid monthly or quarterly.
Can I join from outside Singapore?
Yes. The network is international, and briefs come from companies in many markets.
